Workshops

I runWorkshops in London focusing on crafting and creative arts usually with a Witchy Twist. Currently running Witch Crafts at The Peoples Letters :)

Sets & Props

I trained in Scenic Arts at Rose Bruford College and since have developed more scenic skills in set making for theatre and film! I make all of my own sets and props in all of my videos. I also do this professionally (HIRE MEEE!!!)

Wandmaking

I made my first wand when I was 4 years old and my dad let me use his whittling knife and now I do it professionally! Hit me up is theres a market you want me to attend or if you're intrested in getting a custom wand.

Who is Urban Changeling?

The poetic answer is that I've always felt disasociated from my peers growing up, like a changeling child thrown out of the forest and into a strange world with strange rules. Turn out I'm autistic and that feeling is pretty normal for us, it is believed that a lot of children accused of being changelings were just autisic or had learning difficulties. As I've aged I've fallen in love with this metaphor but I feel like instead of being overwhelemed my the corporate, electronic world I'm instead fighting agaisnt it by bringing the forest to the city.
The less poetic answer is that I made it my instagram handle when I was 14 because I thought it sounded cool and the name stuck.

Who are you tho?

My name is actually Alfie! (sometimes I go by Elfie online) I am a queer creative who lives in London and makes films, art, animations, sets, props, wands, puppets, and lots of other things! I also try to take part in my community as much as possible and volenteer/help out where I can.

What are you doing RIGHT NOW??

Currently I am working on three video projects!

CEO of SEX is a short film/sketch that I'm making with some friends about a beer glass that I feel like could go up someones butt.

We Should Start A Podcast which is a one day challenge that I'll make with my housemate and gf about someone starting a podcast.

There are other plan brewing but nothing particiularly concrete about them yet!
